From the ASPC/AMHR Rule book:
To gain Hall of Fame status—a permanent lifetime championship—a Shetland, Miniature or Show Pony must score 70 points in Halter or Performance, and the show record must include five Grand Champion wins with competition (one must be won as a 2 year old or older), or five performance Championship/Stake wins with competition.

A horse can achieve Hall of Fame recognition in both Halter and Performance if the requirements are fulfilled for both.

To achieve a Superior Sire award, a stallion must sire six Hall of Fame offspring, and a Superior Dam produce two Hall of Spring offspring.

Hall of Fame

Attaining Hall of Fame status with ASPC/AMHR is an achievement worth noting, as it requires dedication and commitment as well as a wonderful horse! It is a permanent lifetime championship award.
